Oh nearly forgot and probably most vital - anyone recommend a decent hotel in the centre of poznan...it would be helpful if i could see photo's and prices of any suggestions on the internet..

Hi!
In August of this year I have been in Poznan. The city was excelent. But I didnt stay in the hotel in the centre of city. I had accomodation in youth hostel suburb of Poznan - Strszelce on the Bizkupinska street 27. You can check website of the city, it has a lot of good information: http://www.city.poznan.pl http://www.city.poznan.pl/mim/strony/turystyka/cla Visit the old town and downtown!!:) Hope to see your Poznan page on VirtualTourist after your trip!!!:)

There IS the Hotel Rzymski (http://www.hotelrzymski.pl) but I fear they might be expensive. Depends on where you're coming from, of course.
