One event down, and 3 to go... or so

Well, Friday night dinner is over and done with... except for those who went on for more partying. I'd like to thank all those who came and for being the friendly folk that you are. There were several people who said that they didn't know anyone, but you know, I think at the end of the evening, everyone felt that they had got to know a few new people or got to know a few people better. Many thanks to Stephanie from the VT Office for the great VT items. The VT flags will be great tomorrow (er, later today) to lead the troops on in the walking/ttc tour of Toronto. Many thanks to HotSauce for her generous donation to the Red Cross in the name of the VT Toronto Meeting for hurricane relief. Katmo... thank you for your generous gifts of your artwork. And finally, thank you all for coming from just around the corner, or from across the Atlantic, or across the continent, and making this all really worth the effort.

A good time was had by ALL!! Thanks Jane and Laura! And Jane you will know we found our way back to the hotel without incidence (oh well Hansi did do a little soft shoe in the hotel lobby but otherwise no trouble!)
