| Benalmádena | January Posted: Fri September 23, 2005 07:20 AM UTC
My friend is thinking od coming to the Costa Del Sol in Jan for 5 days with her 10 year old son. They will be staying in either Benalmadena, Torremolinos or Fuengirola. What will be open this time of year? He likes to be kept busy. I suggested the zoo, Gibraltar and maybe a boat trip. Is there anything else?
Thanks. Clare. |

There will be plenty for her and a ten year old to do in January.
In Benalmadena there is a lovely free park full of wildlife, take plenty of bread. Opposite the far end of the park there is a sea park with dolphins, sea lions and many more attractions. Also Tivoli World and the cable car ride to the top of the mountain. This resort will also have plenty of bars and restaurants open to suit all budgets. In Fuengirola there is a zoo. A day trip to Gibraltar will be interesting for the Rock Tour and the monkies. Locally she will be able to pick up dozens of leaflets detailing all the attractions and will probably find that 5 days is insufficient. I hope that they both have a wonderful time.
