We are coming from ROME and have 5 days for capri and positano.
which is better to go From Naples to positano then, capri or from Salerno to positano then capri. And Shall I spend 3 days in Positano and around or Capri? |

there is no right or wrong way to do this. If you want to stay overnight in capri, I would go there first from Naples. Then return to the Amalfi coast for positano. We have chosen to spend our entire time at Positano and go for daytrips to Capri which have been sufficient. There is a great deal more to do on the Amalfi Coast and try to spend more time in Positano versus Capri. Further questions, please come back to us. Great trip you have planned - enjoy.

the above brings to mind one of the great stories of the Amalfi Coast. We bought two sets of dishes plus serving pieces at the Solimene factory in Vietre and shipped them all back to the US for less than the price of less than 1 small set in the US. And best of all, you can finish there early enough to visit Atrani and particularly Ravello before nightfall.
