DAY TOURS BOOKED THROUGH AGENCY TO TOUR VENCE, ETC.

I am interested in booking day tours to several small towns that are difficult to reach with-out a car and without transferring from train to bus, i.e. Vence, St.Paul de Vence, Eze. Has anyone used this type of tour from either Nice or Menton?

From Nice,each of Vence, St Paul and Eze are one simple bus ride of 30 - 45 minutes. They are so easy to reach there is not much call for as you describe "guided tours". Its worth noting the villages are each also very small and a half day is really enough to see what there is, combined with lunch.

From Menton, you have little choice but to take the train to Nice - as you say. The tourist office at Menton is online and will point you to someone running a tour service, but if there is such it is will be pretty pricy.
