Lecco Travel Forum

Hi,

I'll be spending a few days in the Lake Como area, and planned to spend a couple of nights in Bellagio, but am considering spending the last day/night in Lecco - I need to get a 10am train the next morning from Bergamo so am thinking getting from Lecco by train early the morning is probably easiest. Does anyone have an opiion on that - how easy/not it will be to get from Lecco to Bergamo, and also - is Lecco an OK place to spend a very small amount of time? Other suggestions also very welcome! Thank you.

Ciao, Lecco is a very nice town where to spend some time. Very nice are also the small town on the Lake of Como like Fiumelatte, Varenna, Abbadia...
If you have the train in Bergamo at 10 am, you can take in Lecco these trains:
- 7:03 arrive to Bergamo at 07:47;
- 8:08 arrive to Bergamo at 8:50;
- 9:08 arrive to Bergamo at 9:50.

All of them are direct train.

Thank you so much for that info, a big sign of relief - I can now happily plan to be in Lecco and know won't miss my flight (unless I can't bear to get on train to leave!) :) I'm very much looking forward to the trip. Any chance you could suggest a hotel? (am I pushing my luck!?)
