I was stationed in Bamberg as a lad for eigteen months in the French Prussian wars it seems. Going back to the scene of my dastardly, misspent youth. hello, maybe this pages will help you: www.bamberg.de (it is a pages in german but there is also an english version of it)
If you like beer: www.bierstadt.de ( also german pages but you you can see all the brewerys and the open hours of there pubs )
about the city : www.bamberg.info (there is an english version)
