RE: Flights Livingstone to Nairobi? Posted: Fri January 12, 2007 10:51 PM UTC
Hi, I know you posted this a while back but Ive just found the post.
First things first, If you are going to be in Vic Falls/ Liningstone then forget about the Serengeti and the Masai!!! You will be VERY disappointed!! There is very limited wildlife and what there is will be obstructed with 20 or more other vehicles and camera flashes around the same animal. If you are in Zambia, then by far the best game viewing is there!! Go to South Luangwa National Park, it is unspoilt and fabulous, by far a higher concentration of untouched wilderness and wildlife than any other place in Africa! You can Fly to Mfuwe airport from Livingstone for about $200.
Flights to Maun, there are variable and not particular regular, depends on the season, but will probably be about $300, They do not fly to nairobi from Livingstone but they fly to Dar es Salam so you could figure it out from there (alternatively, take the local bus to Lusaka, very efficient and decent quality (well some are) then fly from there or take the train all the way to Dar, much cheaper but I would highly recommend first class!!!!!)
Good luck and happy travelling. Zambia is the most amazing place in the world, and I have seen a few places!!!
