Brooklyn Travel Forum

Spending a week in NYC end of this month. I want to spend at least one day + evening in Brooklyn. Will likely walk across the bridge.
I'm thinking about an evening walk by Heights Promenade, Prospect Park, Williamsburg, etc. but have never had the pleasure.

Any sincere Brooklyn "musts" (food, walks, places to check out) or recommendations from local VTrs or VT Brooklyn fans would be greatly appreciated.

Prospect Park and the surrounding nabe of PArk slope. Also Williamsburg is h recommended. Hit 5th Ave and Carroll street and you will be surrounded by restaurants, bars and boutiques in Park slope. For Williamsburg get off the subway of the L train at Bedford ave. The Brooklyn Museum is great too.

One restaurant near the promenade always has long lines.....it is rated as the number 1 pizza place in NY. It's called Grimaldi's. check it out!
