Flying Fish??

Hello. My hubby & I will be on the island 9/20/05. We were wondering if the famous "Flying Fish" can still be seen at night from our cruise ship? Also can you recommend pretty areas & beaches (not for swimming) that might have seashells? Thank you, Carla
