I am exploring whetehr to buy an oceanfront condo in Enseada dos Corais. Does anyone know about this town other than the beach? How far is it from Recife and how is the public transportation to Recife? Any information would be much appreciated. I have been told this is a tourist area and finally, does anyone know about pending flights from the USA to Recife so you don't have to fly to the southeast to get to the norteast. Thanks so much.

united airlines flies from miami to belem and they are in the star alliance together with varig, so you should be able to connect to a varig flight from belem to recife.

Hi Zenith,
I cannot give you information about Enseada dos Corais but just about buying property in Brazil in general. I have done it myself 5 months ago with the help of a good lawyer. Without a lawyer to assist you it is almost impossible to buy property here. Do not believe what the real estate agent tells you. He is interested just in his commission. Luc, Paraty RJ, Brazil
