| Nanning | Nanning- Hanoi Posted: Sun September 4, 2005 02:11 PM UTC
Have seen Q about this before - how can it be so difficult? - 60 km between cities! - Is it possible by maxitaxi (several people) between cities, or complicated for taxidriver to cross border? Is travel worse from Nanning to border, or after border to Hanoi? Taxi to border, bus from there? Riciculous with plane such short distance, but anyone who has tried?

It's a lot more than 60 km, more like 300-400. There is a direct night train service from Nanning to Hanoi, but it might not have the speed, frequency and comfort you are looking for....
PS: To amswer your questions in this forum, it would be helpful to have a brief introduction: origin, travel experience etc. on your homepage.
