| Brighton | Gatwick to Brighton Posted: Thu September 1, 2005 12:46 PM UTC
How far is it from Gatwick airport to Brighton? Is there any clubs open after midnight there? I have a 9-1/2 hour layover at Gatwick and somone told me to check out Brighton for Friday night fun. Any ideas?

It takes half an hour by (frequent, direct) train. Sorry, can't tell you about clubs, tho'.

yep, brighton is no more than 45 minutes away from gatwick by train, or only about $60 in a taxi if you pre-order a brighton-based firm (try +44 1273 585555). you'll always find clubs open after midnight up to about 4.00am for the younger places. you'll find it a lot cheaper and a lot more relaxed than london!
