| Trogir | Buying a digital camera in Makarska - very extravagant? Posted: Thu September 1, 2005 07:56 AM UTC
A friend suddenly needs a digital photocamera.
Does it make any sense to buy it in Makarska - or Split, with possible VAT refund? Or should I better take it easy and go to the beach, and find one at home in Moscow? Mind, I have no idea which make I need, nor can tell a good one from a bad one. |

Yes, that's what I thought, too - about returning the product. I didn't have any bad experience about thing bought abroad so far, but who knows?
Actually, the camera I have now is 12 years old and bought by chance in Waynesville, North Carolina, no compaints, touch the wood, and it cost $ 50. Not $ 50 extra, just $ 50 :)
