I am planning to travel from Ujung Padang up to Manado in October. Does anyone know what is the current situation in and around Poso? Is it safe to travel through this area? Are there any other trouble spots in Sulawesi which should be avoided?

There are many travel agent selling airline ticket or even package tour
from Jakarta to Ujung Pandang and Manado.with a good price ticket. Current situation is safe travelling to Ujung Pandang and Manado, for a moment avoid through Poso. It would be better you buy fixing time ticket from Jakarta, plan to Manado first, stay the day you've decide, then to Ujung Pandang, and return back To Jakarta.For ticket information, please buy local Newspaper in Indonesian language "Media Indonesia" in wide frame advertising , you can find airline, travel agent, ticket price, package tour price.
