| Srinagar | which houseboat to stay Posted: Thu August 25, 2005 07:19 AM UTC
Hi,
I'm planning to stay in a houseboat for a weekend in october. as a birthday surprise to my wife. I read a review by husain here that the houseboats are old and they stink. So which would be the best(read clean) houseboat to stay in. thanks |

we have been in srinagar last year.
i can't remmember the boat name but it was too expensive-65$ per nigth. our deal was including all the meals-big mistake-don't eat on the boat-poor food.

I stayed on Fairy Land - you will be offered a very tasty Kashmir tea.
Take offer of a whole day shikara trip on lakes Dal and Nagin, just refuse visiting shops if you do not want to buy souvenirs and honey.
