If one had very little time and only could get a feel of where to return for a longer visit in future, where would one go to book a day tour? Which would be a reputable company with ok packages and how much roughly would they cost?

Though I haven't done all the tours, the one I went on was very good and, I think you will find most offer good service, it's in their interest.
I can't remember how much it cost as I usually don't worry about things like that, just go and do it.
