| Santander | hostels? Posted: Fri August 19, 2005 08:24 AM UTC
I suppose a native wouldn't know the answer....but are there hostels in this city? Can't seem to find any. Please let me know. Would like to come but not keen on staying in a hotel by myself.

| Santander | RE: hostels? Posted: Tue August 23, 2005 08:54 PM UTC There are some Hostels in Santander. However, you may be luckier if you try with the keywords pension and Hostal which are kind of the Spanish version of a Hostel. In particular, Pensiones may be really cheap. For 20 euro a night you can get a clean room for yourself. You can also consider renting an apartment which is always cheaper than a Hotel. An apartment in Santander should not cost more than 300 euros per week and you can find them for less. Check for instance www.santanderholidays.com to see if there is any fitting your needs.
