high speed ferry

I saw a post about a high speed ferry from Old San Juan to Culebra. Has anyone been on it? Are they fussy about luggage? We plan on going in mid-November.

Last time we went to Culebra we camped. The bugs were bad, and now we have some money, so we are thinking about a guest house/hotel deal. I'd like a place with 2 beds, and in a cool place. Near the ocean would be nice. Cool, not fancy. I recall a hotel on Flamenco beach. I never saw the rooms, and wondered if it was okay.

We then want to take the ferry from Culebra to Vieques. Anyone done that?

Any recommendations for a place to stay on Vieques? Who should we rent a car from? Its just 3 of us, so we don't want anything huge.

We have these really cool inflatable kayaks that we are thinking about bringing. Is it possible to take them on the phosphorescent bay at night?

The ferries run from Fajardo. I am unaware of any running from Old San Juan. There is a place called Mamacita's that you ought to check out. It isn't over the top in luxury, but everyone knows it, because it is such a nice little place to stay. Enjoy your PR trip!
