There's no direct way.You have to return to Phnom Penh (Bus). From Phnom Penh you can either take the boat or the bus to Siem Reap.

enjoy our trip!

Do not take the 4' boat ride if you start from Phnom P. It's boring as hell - the Tonle Sap is just a huge, lifeless, extremely shallow mud hole. Flying is the only way to go. Have fun...Bruce

You need to get back to Phnom Penh first before making your way back to Siem Reap. Sihanoukville is a comfortable 4-hour journey by bus to Phnom Penh or a 3-hour taxi ride. There are no airports yet at Sihanoukville.

From Phnom Penh you can use 3 ways to reach Siem Reap.

Taking the bus is cheapest and is about 6 hours.

A ferry across the Tonle Sap is 5 hours. However in the dry season, it is best either to fly or take the bus as the lake becomes very shallow and larger boats can get stuck. Only take the ferry in the wet season.

Flying is 45 mins and cost $60 one-way.
