I'm not familar with that particular cenote, but they way these thing usually work, you take a cab there from the nearest town, bus stop or crossroads, then arrange for the cab to come back and pick you up when you want to leave. There will be very likely be cabs there if the place is much of an attraction.

Cabs are very cheap in Mexico and people use them like this all the time.

Im downtown on Calle 44 (in front of hotel Maria Gadalupe; one block west from zocalo) is a departure of colectivos for cenote. Haven't seen any buses or van, just taxis. Price for all four of us was 10 pesos. It happened to us, that while we were waiting some guy passing by in his car saw us, pushed some lady out of his car, and drove us to cenote (for the same price).

There are also taxis waiting at the cenotes (or just passing by, so you might have to wait couple of minutes).

Don't go to cenote early in the morning. The sun will be low and wont shine into the cenote yet. We made that mistake and it wasn't that spectacular as it could be.
