Izmir Moving to Izmir
Posted: Sun August 14, 2005 04:00 PM UTC
I'm moving to Izmir this fall. I'm taking the ferry from Italy. How long is the drive from Cesme? Are there any tolls? I would like to rent a house; as I have a Chow-chow. Where is a good area that would give me a nice size fenced in yard for my dog?

Cesme-Izmir is about 70km. You might find coaches. Rents.. My perents live in Izmir and they may rent one of their houses may be. But there is no back yard. People usualy lives in apartment in Turkey. It is hard to find houses.

hi there ,
As my friend stated , Izmir-Cesme is approx. 70 kilometres. If you need a house with yard , you should check out guzelbahce in Izmir.Even though its rather far away from city centre there are beatiful houses with yards which is very ideal for those who has got pets.

I agree with two of my friends about their advices. you should go appr. 70 km (nearly 1 hour from highway), and the most appropriate place for a house-with-garden is güzelbahçe. it is appr. at most 30 minutes to the centre of izmir, however the rents are higher than they are in the centre. you should take this into account too. the second suitable place can be bostanlı-karşıyaka in where there are few houses with gardens.
