| Budva | four of us wanting to stay in september. a few questions Posted: Fri August 12, 2005 11:03 AM UTC
hello
my wife and i live in Skopje, Macedonia, and my in-laws are coming over to visit for a couple weeks. We think it would be nice to see Budva. I've read that it is best to wait until you are there to get a room, because a lot of people will offer them. Is this true? Would there be places big enough for four people to stay? Also, how is Budva in September. We would go sept. 18-22 or somewhere around there. Don't want it to be too cold. Could we still swim? If anyone happens to know a bus from Skopje to Budva, i'd be curious, but i figure i'll have to figure that out locally thanks! |

Yes that's true. At the bus station you will meet a lot of people offering accommodations and you should be able to find something for four people. Budva is the nicest in May and September since there are fewer people, and you can have a nice swim and nice evenings out. It shouldn`t be too cold and you will probably be able to swim until late Sept. or early Oct.

When we were in Budva last summer, there were many people on the roadside with signs trying to find renters. Our relatives in Budva told us the vacancy rate is very high and has been for several years, so there are plenty of rooms. I've also been in the Budva area in September and it is still warm, and so is the water, but you may get some rain. I don't think you'll have a problem finding a place to stay.
