Does anyone know what this picture is of?

http://p.vtourist.com/2239285-MomumentsStatues-New_Orleans.jpg I took it on the city tour of New Orleans, and I think it is near the Superdome. But I can't find any other pictures of it or mention anywhere.

i have no idea, but it looks like either a korean or vietnam war memorial. (it reminds me a bit of the iwo jima memorial in DC)
