I will be going to Constanta in september. Do you what is the cheapest way to go to Vama Veche-Mangalia from there? And how is vama veche like? Thanks!! |

There are also regular vans going from Constanta to Vama Veche (some only go to Mangalia, but some straight), they go from the railway station in Constanta and they are faster than the train which is limited to Mangalia (the railway only goes to Mangalia, while some of the vans go all the way).

Just ask someone for a maxitaxi to Vamavece, they run ofently and arn't expensive. Can be quite crowded but in september it should be ok. The place is nice, not that big thou. A lot of Romanian tourist visit this place each year. A nice beach and outdoor pubs and some clubs to visit. The beach is quite relaxed, a lot of nudists. Many romanian young "alternative" people come and camp in the summer. A lot to do in august, I don't know about september. To bad, I will leave the seaside near Vama just in the end of august...Good Luck!
