| Leiden | From Leiden to Gouda Posted: Mon August 1, 2005 09:18 AM UTC
I'm planning to visit Leiden and Gouda in the same day, departing from Den Haag by train. I've noticed that there are no trains that links directly leiden to gouda, so I thought that there might be some buses linking the two cities.
If you know anything about how to go by public transports, from leiden to gouda (or viceversa), please let me know. Thank you again |

There is a train connection from Leiden to Gouda but you have to change trains at Alphen a/d Rijn. The total trip takes 35 minutes.
Depart from Leiden, platform 1 Arrival Alphen a/d R, platform 2 Departure Alpen a/d R, platform 4 Arrival Gouda, platform 9. Trains from Leiden leave twice per hour, at 8 minutes past whole and half hour. Cost as mentioned before: 5 euro 30. Exact details at the national railway website (English version) www.http://www.ns.nl/servlet/Satellite?cid=1075985 Put in Leiden and Gouda.
