I am planning on getting married at the Eden hotel in December. Could anyone tell me if this is a good location and what the beach is like. As there will be several people travelling with us, could you suggest good places to eat and information on the night life.

The hotel is loverly but you wont fin much to do around the hotel. The beach is also very good.

Hi Tina, we got married at Neptune Hotel, and had friends staying at The Eden Hotel. The hotel is lovely,it has a great pool area, with whirlpool, and private sunbathing behing bushes and trees. The beach is right in front of hotel, and is just fansatic, really soft sand, The sea can be very rough, so no snorkling. Pre tsumani there was a small restruant on beach, We had 3 course meal, bottle of wine, 2 beers and packets of cigs for £5.00each,it doesn,t get better then that. The Eden does has good restraunts, but you will have to pay..There is not much nightlife around beruwala, jump on a bus and go to hikkaduwa, better nightlife, or galle for better places to eat.
