Beaches?

My girlfriend and i have booked a week in Banjul staying at hotel called corinthia atalantic, we are looking for a combination of interesting stuff to do with a couple of days of lounging enjoying each others company.

With the latter in mind could anyone recomend any good beaches?

I go to Gambia a few times a year and recomend you go to the beach at Senegambia hotel and Bungalow beach hotel also the beach at Kunte Kinteh beach bar is good and sunbeds are usually free. The hotel you have chosen is very nice. When are you going to visit?

thanks, we're going early January next year. is there any other places you'd recommend for us to see and do (bearing in mind we-re only there for a week)

Go to ganbia tourist supprt website. Quite useful.

Carving market at Brikama good - if you have a specific thing carved they can do it but take pictures.

Crocodile Pool

Tie and Dye Batik factory. Visit Market in Banjul.

See if you can visit childrens ward in Banjul. Pens and toys no matter how old come in useful.

The hotel corinthian atlantica or whatever its called it way way off the best places to go and see, the hotel is designed to keep you in as there is nothing surrounding it, your better off staying in senegambia, its much better and thats where most people go.
