Bus service in and around Arnhem

Could anyone please provide information for any bus services from Arnhem to Apeldoorn and Arnhem to Bocholt in Germany for the weekend of 19th-21st August?

Hi

About the bus between Apeldoorn and Arnhem; they are leaving (almost) every 30 minutes from 7.10 am till 11.15 pm.

website: www.bba.nl, scroll over the map till you find "Veluwe",
look for "dienstregelingen voor deze regio" and choose "lijn 91 richting Arnhem".

By bus to Apeldoorn (half hourly connection):
At Arnhem Central Station take Connexxion bus 43, BBA bus 91 or BBA bus 231s to Apeldoorn.

By bus to Bocholt (hourly connection):
At Arnhem Central Station take Syntus Bus 29 direction Doetinchem/Gendringen

At Doetinchem-Willem van Oranjeplein take Syntus Bus 40 to Bocholt.

oops...

pieter jan is right:
- the busses to Apeldoorn are already running from 6.35 am till late in the evening
- there is also another number 231 s ('quick service')

ps: pieter jan weet je zeker dat connexion nog rijdt, volgens mij komen die niet meer in Apeldoorn ??

al maanden geen connexion bus meer gezien in Apeldoorn, na de laatste verdeling van de concessie. lijkt mij dat de OV vraagbaak niet helemaal bij is !!

Hello Clark,

Indeed, our ultra-active members PJ and VTVeen have helped you out in the most complete way possible. To Apeldoorn is quite easy by bus, but you can also do this by train with a change in Zutphen. The train takes you along the beautiful IJssel-valley and in time it is appr. the same.

To German Bocholt you also might choose the train partly. Synthus has a direct line from Arnhem to Winterswijk from where it's a short bus travel to Bocholt.

PJ was right: there is also a bus from Connexxion (I mailed the company today).
Never seen one of their busses the last months, but...
