| Yukon Territory | US Arbitrariness on Flights from Yukon to Germany Posted: Mon July 25, 2005 11:14 AM UTC
On Condor flights from whitehorse/yukon to frankfurt/germany via alaska (anchorage or farirbanks) ALL transit passengers are constrained to leave their fingerprints at the US passport check. Many canada tourists got upset about this practice.
Is this practice legal? How could I avoid it? |

It is legal.
You can't avoid it.

You could avoid it very simply, don't go. Just curious did you take a survey of the Canada passengers, what was the ratio of those that got upset compared to those that did not?

It's not arbitrary. It's standard practice. Check the Department of State or Homeland Security websites for more information about the hoops which foreign nationals have to jump through in order to visit or transit the USA.
