Hi there, I'm staying in B.A. for some time, but i would like to visit the Peninsula... i can choose between going in august september or early oktober, which month is the best for seeing wildlife??

i'd go early october
in winter penguins and so on migrate north to Brazil, so they start coming back in south american spring...
in peninsula valdez you'll be able to see both penguins and orcas and sea lions and sea elephants and so on
punta tombo is a HUGE penguin colony and u'll never wanna leave... they are so cute:)

I'm agree. early october. Don't forget P.Tombo, more wild life and take the excursion with catamarano, whales watching. This two both are better then P.Valdes as place to see. You'd better have 3 days there. Have a dinner at "cantina El Nautico", for me is the best place where to eat. (it's not expansive)

iirc, it's also better for watching the whales. I'm not sure but have something about okt-dec in my mind.
climate might be a different argument, cannot comment this (went there only once in late january) but there are plenty of webpages.

I also agree with them... if you are lucky enough you will see a lot of whales. Punta Tombo for penguins... they are so cute! Weather is a bit cold so don't forget a jacket!
