Wandering around the labyrinthine Lanes area is fun. The Pacillion is, of course, the must see. Best restaurant by all accounts is "Due South", right on the beach - I've twice failed to get reservations there on sunny Sundays recently. Venture into the Channel at your peril! Well, okay, a TOE won't lead to immediate frostbite...

La Fourchette for lunch.
Shopping in the North Lanes as well as theLanes (see my page for explanation!). Komedia is a fantastic venue, there is always something on. Fish and chips on the beach. Get the tourist bus up to Devils Dyke if the weather is good, take a picnic from Bona Foodie in St James St, they make them up for you in a container with plastic cutlery/napkin. If you are in Brighton on a weekend, don't forget to book at able, as the good restaurants get very booked up. Have fun :-)
