You need to take lessons in a driving school. Sometimes the traffic department exchanges Driver license of certain countries. However, countries where driving is on the right hand side are required to go to a school and some countries DL are not authentic. They require that individual to take lessons to test competency. My recommendation come to qatar and spend 3000QR and get good lessons from a driving school.
Good luck

Whoah Cloud, is it really that expensive to get a licence??? That's really weird. And by the way you said something about petrol being more expensive now, but I haven't noticed. Maybe you meant crude oil or something?? Please clarify!

Yes. It costs that much. you have an option of 25 or 50 classes (hours). As for the car gasoline, Qatar, this past saturday raised car gas about 10dirhams for both premimum and super.

I hope this clarifies my dearest bravecat concerns.
