Hi there!
We (2) are planning to visit Cordoba and around this august. I think we'll flight from paris to madrid, and then go to Cordoba by a way or another... Does anyone know which of these ways is the best? Is there any bus, any train? where could I find schedule? and how expensive could it be?..... Thanks for your help, hope you'll enjoy your trips around the world!! ++ manu |

the best way is highspeed train AVE, it will only take you 1h 50 mins to Cordoba from Madrid. You can use the same way of transport to Seville. Coming back from seville to Madrid via AVE takes only 2h 30min (6h by car!) check in renfe.es (alta velocidad, AVE)

if you are on a budget, there are buses that run from the bus station called: ESTACIÓN DE AUTOBUSES SUR ( M. ÁLVARO) which is situated south of Atocha Station where the trains leave. One way to Cordoba is about Euros 13. One company that serves this route is SOCIBUS. for times see: http://www.socibus.es/index.html
It is possible to travel from Madrid Airport by metro to either Atocha or M.ÁLVARO . It requires 2 change of trains.
