My daughter is going to Santa FE for a year and wants to bring items from the USA as gifts that they may not have in Argentina. Any suggestions? Do they have peanut butter? Kraft boxed macaroni and cheese? Microwave popcorn?

Thanks

No peanut butter here, except (maybe) in specialized supermarkets, so it might be a good idea. Many but not all have microwaves, but be sure the people where your daughter is going has one.

Hi,
Argentines are famous for their BBQ and I don't think that they have
BBQ sauce( we don't in Brazil). My mother love it when she was here and whem I go , I bring some with me.
As gifts why not some thing for kids?
They love novelties, even pencils, pens, erasers...
You can make any parent happy when you make their child smile.
Even go to the dollar store and by a bunch of little things...
If she likes these items herself, bring some in case she gets home sick, confort food always helps.
Hope seh has fun!
Maria

You can buy Skippy brand peanut butter at JUMBO in Buenos Aires, and I would assume there is at least one JUMBO in Rosario or Santa Fe. They also sell Dr. Pepper, Kraft, and all sorts of other familiar U.S. products, but irregularly, so when you see something imported that you like, the rule is to buy as much as you can, because it may not be there again when you go back.
