Does anyone know a place I can find wi-fi in Urumqi? In a hotel, a cafe, or whatever. Hopefully free, but not neccisary.

Sure you can.If you are looking for free Wi-Fi, you could sue the one in my office which locates in Zhongshn Road of Urumqi.Also ther are some good qualified internet cafes where it's available.You can email me if need further information.

3rd floor of the Gongchang building (the one with all the computer stores in em) at the corner of heilongjang and huanghe. that's where i'm writing this post from!

i went to the third floor of the gongchang building yesterday.l nothing doing. I'd really like to find some wifi out here. Any suggestions would be very welcome! Kevin.
