Hello everyone,
I was in St Maarten June 25th-July 2nd 2005 and I had a blast...actually, I fell in love with the island. So in love that I decided to start making a plan to move there. I am a nutrition consultant here in Montreal, Canada and run my private practice. Of course, in Sint Maarten, I have no clientele...how do you suggest I go about that? Should I get a job? Tell me what you think... Julie |

Hi !
When I was in St.Marteen in 1995 they had a program of granting tax-free income for 10 or even 20 years for all people from abroad, who started a new business on the island. I do not remember the details, maybe it was only for larger companies, who will also give some work for the local people, maybe it would apply for you, too.
