Hi all.
We're getting the Split Rijeka ferry on the 6/9/05 at 20.00. Can anyone confirm what time this gets into Rijeka ( I believe its around 07.00) & the best way to get to the Hotel Kristal in Opatija at this time of day. If we have to wait for transport (ie bus or train) what can we do or see in Rijeka to use up the time ? Is a taxi an option as I believe its quite a way ? Thanks |

u dont need a boat togo to Opatija its only 20 minus by bus from Rijeka ,or 10 min by a taxi enjoy ur trip C H E E R S :-)

Bus station Žabica (right opposite to the Capuchine church) is in a walking distance from ferry port, less then 5 minutes. Also, you can take local city bus, line to Opatija, and you'll get in less then half an hour.

Bus line No. 32 drives to Opatija. And I think you wont have to wait long. It's a quite frequent line and I think it's starts running early in the morning.
