| Jersey | finding a job in Jersey Posted: Mon July 4, 2005 02:19 PM UTC
hello to all!
I'm going to Jersey very soon. I'll put my feet there on Friday :) I'd like to spend a nice time there but also find a job (eg. waitress). Do you think this is possible? Where should I start looking for it? Are the employers willing to give a job to a foreigner? And where one can stay for an affordable price? Is it possible to rent a room there and share it with friends? I'll be very grateful for your help. |

at the moment there are a few jobs in the restaurant trade, however you'll need to go direct to the restaurants or the job centre and check the job board. the job page in the jep (local paper) is a good source for jobs. the main skill they are always keen to ask is for fluent english!
