Joining the hotels and plugs??

Hi there,
Please can you tell me, will english plugs sockets work okay in Qatar? I'm bringing out my laptop etc, and can't find an adapter for it for the middle east, but i read somewhere they use 3 pin plugs anyway??
Also i've heard that to use a private beach, and pool etc you can join one of the hotels, on average how much does this cost? And which are the best to join? I would like on with a gym and sauna etc if possible?

yeah here we usein the 3pin plugs so the uk stuff should b fine here,.. about the private pools i don't know how much is it but i guess it 'll be like 3000 Qr per year or around that...
