Hi there, I am going to work in a construction site in Doha in a couple of month, but I still have no idea of living in Doha, the people, living cost, finding accomodation, social life especially for a woman in the middle east all by myself. At the moment I live in a crowded and dense city of Jakarta with population of more than 15 million people.

You will be ok. doha like any other city in the world. but full of people from all over the world.
You need to know about accomodation and where will you be staying. Good luck

I know I'll be ok, at least that what they said, but still I am nervous. I'll be totally alone in doha, is it common for a woman living alone in there and what kind of place should I look for? a house or an apartment?
