Skype- can I use this in Doha?

Hi,
i'm moving to Doha, Qatar in 3 weeks, i've downloaded Skype so I can talk to my mum through our computers, as I won't be able to afford to phone a lot otherwise. Now i've read its been blocked in thw UAE. If i've already downloaded the program can i still use it there?

Hi,

Well I was able to use Skype to talk to my peeps in the US and Canada; so I guess it must work. Unless of course your mother is in UAE if you say they banned it there (haven't heard about that). Hope this helps and good luck on your trips.
