Im planning to go to Playa Blanca for the first time in september and need to know some questions.I have no car, so I will be traveling by bus from Caracas.
Is there posadas to stay in playa blanca?
Is it a way to get ther by bus or por puesto once I get to Puerto La cruz?
Is it better to go to Mochima town first or there is transportation to playa blanca from Puerto la Cruz?
Is it strictly necessary to take a boat to get to playa blanca or is possible to get there just by public transportation?
I really do apprecciate your responses.
Also what you think is more beautiful, playa colorada or playa blanca>?

there are may tour companies in the puerto la cruz and lecherias area that go to the different beaches on the mochima national park....

playa colorado is a nice beach..and access by car on the way to cumana...playa on the other hand is only access by driving to cumana but you got to take a boat to get there....

there are no posadas on playa blanca .only a restaurant....

on the other hand playa colorado and playa arapito...are very close and they seem to have beach houses or guess houses for rent nearby...

another great beach which is nice is playa puinare..just take the little peneros from paseo colon...has of august 2004..to get to playa puinare was 8000 bolivares....both ways...

If you are traveling from caracas, the first stop will be Puerto la cruz, were you can saty or if you like you can keep going to mochima town or santa fe town were there are some Posadas were to stay, also in the way to mochima thare are some posadas very nice next to playa colorada. Like mochima loge (vist my Mochima Page) they can pic you up in Puerto la cruz, some posadas have the transportation as a option.

From mochima, santa fe or playa colorada, you can take peneros that will take you were ever you whant, playa blanca, arapito, la piscina others there are to many nice places to vist
