| Cambridge | Getting to Disneyland Posted: Sun June 12, 2005 02:17 AM UTC
Hi everyone
I'm going to be studying at Cambridge, UK from Jul-Sept and I wanted to try to visit Disneyland in Paris while I was in the area anyway (I'm from Australia, no Disneylands in my area!). I was wondering what the best way to get from Cambridge to Disneyland would be, about how long it would take, and about how much it would cost. I'm sorry if this question is in the wrong place! Cheers, Jessie |

Also try Ryanair (from Stansted ..... might be easier for you to get to) on www.ryanair.com. www.whichbudget.com lists all budget carriers so there may be other options available too. Ryanair & Easyjet at least will almost certainly offer short break flight + hotel deals for Disneyland Paris. You might also find short breaks offered by local coach firms (you'll need to stay there at least overnight, I think ...... too far for a daytrip). Try contacting the tourist information people in Cambridge for ideas on this (google the UK pages on www.google.co.uk for cambridge+tourist+information+office).

Hi -
personally I find the Eurostar the best way to get to Paris - much less stressful than catching a plane. Once you factor in the price of getting to and from the airport in as well there's not to much in the cost. You can't take to much luggage with you, though - you do have to get across London via Underground train. www.wagn.co.uk for trains to London Kings Cross www.eurostar.com for London to Paris trains. www.tfl.gov.uk/tube/ for London Underground info. If you stay in Paris - the RER trains (linked into the metro system) will take to to Disneyland Paris. Cheers, Jeremy
