I forgot to say that the budget is between the 2 of us, we just want to go for a 5 month holiday in the sun.

Its pretty cheap...accomadation will cost between 300-500b a day...food 300-400b.A great place to spend time!!..ao hin khok..my fave! There are some busy beaches and some deserted beaches but no high rise buildings...which is nice!!
I think you may find 5 months a little long to spend there..as there isnt a great deal to do...but if you befriend a few locals which is easy it will probably fly by!!
