Hi

What drive do you mean; between El Calafate and Punta Arenas ??
I don't know exactly, but think it is a whole day of driving. Besides you have to find an one way rental between these cities (in Argentina and Chile).

There is also a flight between El Calafate and Puerto Natales in Chile and from the last town it is not too far to Punta Arenas.

Hi

The drive willl be like 8 hours, 4 to 5 hours from calafate to puerto natales and 3 from natales to punta arenas will be 3 hours it is a lot. If you are doing driving i will recomend from calafate drive to puerto natales stay a coples of days visit Parque nacional Torres del paine y then go to Punta Arenas

The light from santiago to punta arena it is 4 hours (with a stop in puerto mont) and the flight from buenos aires to satiago it is 1 hours also santiago it is a beatiful city
