Just returned from Jaco. We took the Waterfall canopy tour in Jaco. A very professional operation that walks you through the rain forest and beautiful waterfall and imparts interesting tidbits about the ecosystem. Then the fun begins. After very thorough instruction, we climbed up a hill to the first platform. Armed with rock climbing harnesses, we glided treetop through the forest to the next platform. The guides were very safe, we were always buckled to a safe line, and they could laugh and have fun with us also. Pictures were taken by a photographer at one platform, for purchase after the trip. The last platform was like 400 feet long ending with a 90 foot repel off the platform. It was a chance to see the rain forest and exhilarating at the same time. Hint: Take bug spray!
