It's soooo hard to find internet resources on ACTUAL schedules listed by the bus companies in Peru. I'm going to Peru in July, planning to stay a couple days in Arequipa then take a bus to Puno to spend 2 days for the overnite Isle Tanquia trip. Then a late afternoon bus to Cuzco.
Since each of these 2 bus trips takes about 5-8 hrs, the ideal timing for it is a late afternoon department (4pm~) and arriving by midnite. Does anyone know if there's such bus schedule from Arequipa to Puno, and then Puno to Cuzco?

Arequipa - Puno is a very popular route, all you have to do is go to the Terminal terreste or terrepuerto bus stations, (they are situated right next to one another). It is really convenient how all the companies are located right next to one another. You should be able to get a ticket for between 15-25 sols. So while there is no schedule available online, I'm sure that you can find a bus leaving at that time. Basically, don't sweat bus schedules, because if the destinations are major, as are Cuzco, Puno, and Arequipa, there is usually a bus leaving every few minutes.

Itīs all pretty casual. Most people donīt even buy tickets in advance and as long as you are going on a popular route there is always a bus going from one company or another.

I am in Cusco and going to Puno tomorrow. I just checked the schedule today and there is basically a bus every hour or so from multiple companies from 7am until 11pm. Iīm sure Arequipa to Puno is about the same.

hey-- me andmy friends are doing the same thing-- I have 2 peru books-- definetely bus from arequipa until 6:00-- i am not sure for cuzco-- we want to take a late bus to cuzco too, but we arent sure!!!---

what about buses at night-- we want to leave arequipa to puno after 7:00pm and puno also after that time???
