Hi VT'ers
Anyone know of a hotel in canterbury or nearby that has rooms for 3 adults and 1 child. I'm trying to keep the price down on my trip to france and could do with out booking 2 seperate rooms for a one night stop on the way to the ferry port. HELP cheers steve |

Have you tried travelodge or premier travel inns. They often have family rooms for £49pn.
Checkout www.travelodge.com. There are 2 quite close to Canterbury http://www.premiertravelinn.com there are 2 near dover

try http://www.bleriots.net/ private parking and nearer to the port of dover than canterbury

The hotels in Canterbury are extortionately expensive, and from personal experience, offer appalling service and dire food.
You are FAR better off finding B & B's outside of the city. Canterbury gets 3,500,000 visitors a year, and the vast majority of the corporate businesses know very well that they can treat you dreadfully and it doesn't matter. If you don't come back, someone else will. Hope you found somewhere - sorry this is too late to help you, but maybe it'll help others.
