HI,
We want to go from Lanzhou to Jiayuguan and after to Dunhuang. Some people said the road rom JIyuguan to Dunhuang is under construction and it's better to go back to Lanzhou by train and after take a plane to Dunhuang. Has anybody done this trip? Xampaio |

I'm a bit confused. Why not take the train from Lanzhou to Jiayuguan, stay a night and then take the train from Jiayuguan to Dunhuang? Maybe they have finished the rerouting of the train so it will go directly to Dunhuang. Otherwise, you will take a bus from the railway station in the middle of nowhere to Dunhuang as it has been for decades. Either way, when you buy the ticket you will ask for Dunhuang because that's where everyone will be going when they get off the train.
